Christmas Bliss Balls

These bliss balls are a great treat to make to take to a social Christmas gathering or even just to make and keep at home for a festive snack!

Christmas Bliss Balls

Ingredients

Bliss ball base

  • 3/4 Cup Pecans
  • 3/4 Cup Walnuts
  • 1/2 Cup Sultanas Organic
  • 6 Medjool Dates Pitter
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 2 Tb Coconut oil

Frosting

  • 1/4 cup Raw Cashews Soaked overnight or for a few hours
  • 1/3 cup Coconut cream
  • 2 Tb Maple Syrup
  • 1 Pinch of vanilla bean powder

Decorations

  • Goji Berries
  • Pepitas

Instructions

  • For the bliss balls, add the pecans and walnuts to a food processor and process until medium-fine crumbs.
  • Add the rest of the bliss ball ingredients and process until combined.
  • Depending on the texture, add a splash of water if dry
  • Add more herbs to taste if you would like them stronger
  • Roll mixture into balls and set aside in the fridge to set
  • To make the frosting, drain the cashews and blend all the frosting ingredients in a blender or with as stick blender until well blended
  • Place in the fridge to allow it to thicken for about 30 minutes
  • Spoon the frosting on each ball, allowing it to gently drip down
  • Top the balls with the goji berries and pepitas as pictured
  • Store in the fridge or freezer in an airtight container
  • Enjoy!
