Sesame Seed Bars
These sesame bars are super simple to make, require no baking and are great for lunchboxes!
Keyword dairy free, gluten free
- 2 cups Sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup Shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup Almond meal
- 1/2 cup Tahini
- 1/4 cup Coconut oil Melted
- 1/2 cup Honey
- Pinch Salt
- 1/2 Pod Vanilla bean Scraped out
Line a 20cm baking tin with baking paper
In a large bowl combine the sesame seeds, coconut, almond meal and salt
Combine the melted coconut oil, honey, tahini and vanilla
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix until combined
Pour into the lined tin
Pop into the freezer for about one hour or until set
Once set, remove and cut into bars
Store in a sealed container in the fridge
